Compare Heathrow Parking

These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made via CompareHeathrowParking.co.uk. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.


Section 1 — Bookings & Confirmation

1.1 Once payment has been successfully processed, a confirmation email will be sent to the address provided at the time of booking.

1.2 If you do not receive your confirmation email, please contact us immediately at info@heathrowparkings.co.uk. We are not responsible for missed bookings where non-receipt has not been promptly reported.

1.3 Refunds are not available for no-shows or cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled arrival time, unless Cancellation Cover applies under Section 6.

1.4 Before booking, you must review the “More Info” section of your chosen product, which contains important details regarding operating hours, additional charges, vehicle restrictions, and service-specific terms.

1.5 All bookings must be made in advance and are subject to a non-refundable booking fee.


Section 2 — Our Role

2.1 Compare Heathrow Parking acts solely as a disclosed booking intermediary.

2.2 We do not own, operate, manage, or control any parking facility.

2.3 Your parking contract is formed directly between you and your chosen parking operator. Their own Terms and Conditions govern the service provided.

2.4 Should your selected provider be unable to honour your booking, we will make reasonable efforts to arrange a comparable alternative. If you decline the alternative offered, you may cancel and receive a refund of the parking charge only.


Section 3 — Claims & Liabilities

3.1 Once your vehicle has been handed to the parking operator or their authorised staff, all claims relating to damage, delay, loss, theft, or service failures must be raised directly with the operator.

3.2 We accept no liability for issues arising from industrial action, severe weather, traffic conditions, technical failures, or any other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

3.3 Compare Heathrow Parking shall not be named in legal claims relating to the performance of a parking operator. If wrongly included in any such claim, we reserve the right to recover all associated legal and administrative costs.


Section 4 — Customer Responsibilities

4.1 Your vehicle must be roadworthy, taxed, insured, and where applicable, hold a valid MOT certificate.

4.2 You must bring your booking confirmation and follow all arrival instructions provided.

4.3 All valuables must be removed from your vehicle prior to handover. Only the keys required to operate the vehicle should be provided to the operator.

4.4 You must inspect your vehicle thoroughly before leaving the premises. No claims will be accepted once the vehicle has departed the car park or terminal.

4.5 It is your responsibility to obtain and retain the parking operator’s contact details before you travel.


Section 5 — Prices & Payments

5.1 All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£) and apply to advance bookings only.

5.2 Booking fees, SMS notifications, optional extras, and surcharges are strictly non-refundable.

5.3 Additional charges may apply for oversized, high-sided, or commercial vehicles. Please check the product details carefully before booking.

5.4 Prices are subject to change based on availability, demand, operational costs, or provider amendments.

5.5 Optional Cancellation Cover may be available at checkout for an additional fee, which will be clearly displayed prior to payment. The Cancellation Cover fee is strictly non-refundable.

5.6 Bookings made for same-day arrival may be subject to an additional surcharge, which will be clearly displayed at checkout before payment is taken. Any same-day surcharge is strictly non-refundable. We reserve the right to vary this surcharge amount at any time.


Section 6 — Cancellations & Refunds

6.1 In accordance with Regulation 28(1)(h) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, bookings for dated leisure services are exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off period.

6.2 All cancellation requests must be submitted via the “Manage Booking” facility or by emailing info@heathrowparkings.co.uk. Cancellations are not valid until confirmed in writing.

6.3 Where a refund is applicable, it will be returned to the original payment method within up to 10 working days.

6.4 Flexible Bookings

6.4.1 Flexible bookings may be cancelled for a refund, provided cancellation is made more than 48 hours before your scheduled arrival time.

6.4.2 A £20 administration fee will be deducted from any applicable refund.

6.4.3 Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled arrival time are non-refundable, unless Cancellation Cover applies.

6.4.4 Failure to attend without prior cancellation constitutes a no-show and is non-refundable.

6.5 Non-Flexible / Non-Refundable Bookings

6.5.1 Non-Flexible or Non-Refundable bookings cannot be cancelled, amended, or refunded unless Cancellation Cover has been purchased.

6.5.2 By completing a Non-Flexible booking, you acknowledge and accept these restrictions in full.

6.6 Cancellation Cover

6.6.1 Cancellation Cover must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added after confirmation has been issued.

6.6.2 The Cancellation Cover fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

6.6.3 Cancellation Cover does not apply to cancellations made within 36 hours of your scheduled arrival time.

6.7 Non-Flexible Bookings with Cancellation Cover

6.7.1 Where Cancellation Cover has been purchased alongside a Non-Flexible booking, the standard non-refundable condition is partially overridden.

6.7.2 If cancellation is made more than 36 hours before your scheduled arrival time, you will receive a refund equivalent to 70% of the parking charge only.

6.7.3 The following are excluded from any refund calculation:

  • Booking fee
  • Cancellation Cover fee
  • SMS notifications
  • Same-day surcharge
  • Optional extras
  • Amendment fees

6.7.4 Cancellations made within 36 hours of your scheduled arrival time remain strictly non-refundable.

6.7.5 All Non-Flexible bookings with Cancellation Cover are eligible for a refund of 70% only.


Section 7 — Amendments

7.1 Amendment requests must be submitted via Manage Booking or by emailing info@heathrowparkings.co.uk and are subject to availability.

7.2 Amendment fees are as follows:

7.3 Non-Flexible bookings cannot be amended unless permitted under the applicable Cancellation Cover terms.


Section 8 — Arrival & Parking

8.1 You must allow sufficient time for all check-in and transfer procedures at your chosen facility.

8.2 Failure to follow the operator’s instructions may result in refusal of service without a refund being issued.


Section 9 — Complaints

9.1 Any issues must be reported immediately to the parking operator upon discovery.

9.2 Complaints must be submitted to the operator within 24 hours of your vehicle being returned.

9.3 We may assist in facilitating communication between parties but accept no liability for the outcome of any dispute.


Section 10 — Limitation of Liability

10.1 Our liability is limited solely to errors made directly during the booking process.

10.2 Our maximum liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the booking.

10.3 We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss, including but not limited to missed flights, loss of earnings, accommodation costs, or travel disruption.

10.4 We accept no liability for the acts or omissions of any parking operator.


Section 11 — Reviews

11.1 Reviews relating to the standard of parking services should be directed to the relevant parking operator.

11.2 We reserve the right to respond to, or request the removal of, any review that is factually incorrect or submitted in error.


Section 12 — Modifications

12.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our website constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.

Section 14 — Liability of the Parking Operator

14.1 From the moment your vehicle is handed to the parking operator, they assume full responsibility for its custody and care.

14.2 The operator is solely responsible for any damage, loss, or negligent handling that occurs during the service period.

14.3 Compare Heathrow Parking never takes possession of any vehicle and bears no responsibility once the vehicle is in the operator’s custody.

14.4 Any issue must be reported and documented before leaving the premises, and a written incident report must be obtained from the operator at that time.


Section 15 — Governing Law & Jurisdiction

15.1 These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

15.2 The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms.

15.3 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
